Committee

Sheila Campbell, Robin Jones, Judith Thomason and Robert Topp, under the guidance of our Local Warden, Kevin Sullivan, will continue to take us forward to new and exciting things.

Bring and Share Lunches

There is an open invitation to join with us for lunch. Either at the restaurant near the church or weather permitting we have a “bring and share” lunch in the church grounds. We all enjoy the opportunity for fellowship and it is good for people to meet before their long drive home – members of our congregation average a 100km round trip to attend services.

Music Group

We are very fortunate that our music group is going from strength. We regularly have a keyboard

and two guitarists to lead our singing which is greatly appreciated. Learning new songs is now possible and we are expanding our musical repertoire with both modern and traditional music.

TO CHURCH AND NON CHURCH ATTENDERS

We would like to offer a warm welcome to anyone who wishes to come to Colin and Sheila's at Pechaude, on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays of every month.  Starting at 10.30am with coffee and a fellowship study at 11.00am, finishing between 12 noon and 12.30pm, followed by a light lunch.

This time of sharing, is a great opportunity for us all to get to know each other.  It is also an opportunity to discuss in an informal atmosphere some of the deeper concerns of life, and to discover what the Bible has to say about them.  We look forward to some lively discussions and value each person's point of view, in a friendly, non confrontational atmosphere.  In these puzzling times, we may come up with more questions than answers, but we can guarantee a fresh perspective, as we share and discuss "What the Church should do in 21st Century."  If you cannot manage every meeting, please still come, when you can.

A reading aid by the Bishop of Sheffield, Steven Croft is the book "Jesus People".  At the end of our discussions please stay and enjoy a bowl of soup and bread.

Quiz Night
The Quiz Night in the Salle at Salignac on 21st. May was attended 52 people and a total 400 Euro was raised for Chaplaincy Funds. A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all and thanks go out primarily to our two quiz masters and their assistants but also to all who helped in any way with the catering and the clearing away afterwards.
