Our members are drawn from the north, east and central Lot-et-Garonne and southern Dordogne.  We come from a variety of backgrounds, Methodist, Baptist, Church of Scotland, The Brethren and other denominations: all are welcome!

Origins?

The congregation at Monteton has been meeting for over 30 years in the Church of Notre Dame in Monteton. Originally, a group of friends met in the homes of the Atkinson families but numbers grew and larger premises were soon needed. We are grateful to Abbe Grimaud who, all those years ago, made us so very welcome in his church.

What?

Church of England forms of worship are used for all services, whilst some follow the traditional forms we also have a lively Service of the Word "All Age Worship".  Congregations of over 60 are usual throughout the year, growing into the 100s for major festivals.

The congregation is particularly proud of its choir, which ensures that our services are made more special by their beautiful singing and anthems.  It is always glad to accept new members.

Throughout the year, events such as the Harvest Supper, a Barn Dance and even a motorised Treasure Hunt attract regular members and many new friends alike.

Colouring books and pens and other books to occupy and entertain children are provided and are very popular.
